KBG San Antonio Site Model
Kajima Building & Design Group asked us for a physical site model of its San Antonio project that brought the main building and the surrounding site into one view.
The building in its setting
Working from the team's plans and images, we showed the main building, neighboring structures, roads and landscaped areas across a 5 × 7 foot base. Loading bays, rooftop equipment and water features add the detail people need to understand how the site works.
The site view combines details at several levels. Roads and neighboring structures establish the broader setting; loading bays and rooftop equipment identify parts of the main facility. At one inch to forty feet, the display can show those relationships across the large base. The water and landscaped areas remain part of the same arrangement, helping viewers read the building together with the land around it.
