HOK Competition Site Model
Clark Construction and HOK needed an architectural site model for a design competition that brought a new main building, a parking garage and the existing buildings together in one view.
A white model that keeps the focus on design
We built stepped terrain from HOK's site information and finished the whole model in white, so reviewers focus on massing, placement and the relationships across the site rather than on materials. Detailed roofs, windows and building forms still reward a closer look.
The competition brief required the proposed buildings to be read alongside existing development. The monochrome finish keeps that comparison focused on geometry and placement, while stepped contours explain the site beneath them. At one inch to one hundred feet, the presentation covers the wider setting. The parking garage and main building can therefore be considered as parts of a single site arrangement.
