We ship physical scale models worldwide. Shipping usually costs $700–$2,000, depending mostly on the model's size, and on-site installation, when needed, is billed at $1,000 per day away from the shop plus travel. The packing plan is designed around the model's size, materials, destination and how often it will travel.
Protect the details
We crate models in our shop and ship them with logistics providers experienced in delicate items, always with insurance. We guarantee your model arrives undamaged; if it doesn't, we repair it at no cost. Some projects call for personal delivery and installation by our team.
Models that travel more than once
If a model will go to trade shows or meetings, tell us early. Travel cases, removable components and quick setup are designed in from the start. Our SunPower models come apart for travel and reassemble at each show; the ATM demonstration models travel in custom cases with their interchangeable parts.
Large and permanent installations
Very large models are built in sections. The Powder Mountain model, about 126 × 110 inches, was built in sections, shipped and assembled on site. For a permanent display, share the destination, access (doors, elevators, stairs) and any assembly needs before the model's dimensions are final. A display table or protective case belongs in the same conversation.
