industrial model, united states coast guard training facility
The United States Coast Guard required one a scale model of a waterfront facility. The required waterfront facility model is used as a
training aid to support multiple training courses. These courses all receive instruction in the application of complex domestic and international laws and
regulations. They are taught using lectures, in-class laboratory exercises and demonstrations, with an emphasis placed on hands-on
learning to reinforce instructional topics. Importance is placed on developing the student’s ability to interpret and apply these
standards for safety, security and environmental compliance. The completed scale model is now a centerpiece of their training presentations.
